Stony Brook Short Fiction Prize

The Stony Brook Short Fiction Prize is seeking original fiction from undergraduate students and offers a prize of $1000 for a story that “stirs, shifts, or shakes” them in some way.

There is no submission fee and  the judges read stories blindly, without knowledge of the entrants’ identities or academic institutions.

The deadline to submit is April 15, 2016. You can read more about the prize and see detailed guidelines here.

We encourage you to submit your work! Good luck.
